HARVEY COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Harvey County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2009 Dodge Avenger driven by Jean Carlos Orta-Melo, 20, Wichita, was eastbound on SE 125th Street from Rock Road.
The driver lost control of the car. It entered the north ditch and rolled onto its roof.
EMS transported Orta-Melo to Wesley Medical Center. A passenger was not injured. Orta-Melo was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
