RENO COUNTY — One person was injured in an accident just after 7 a.m. Friday in Reno County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2017 Ford Explorer driven by Merryn Alexis McReynolds, 30, Turon, was traveling northeast on Kansas 61, three miles southwest of Langdon.
The SUV rear-ended a 2000 Chevy Silverado driven by Dyllen Dewaine Johnson, 30, Grove, Oklahoma, who stopped to make a northbound turn onto Olcott Road.
A private vehicle transported a 10-year-old boy in the SUV to the hospital in Pratt. The drivers and two juvenile passengers in the SUV were not injured. All five were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
