HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Formal charges are pending against a Hutchinson woman who was arrested in a major drug bust on Friday.
The Drug Enforcement Unit arrested Chelsea Pope on suspicion of drug possession and drug paraphernalia with intent to distribute.
According to authorities a large package was intercepted by the postal service in Wichita. After that the postal service and the DEU coordinated the delivery and arrested Pope the following day. The package contained more than 10 pounds of drugs.
Pope is being held on a bond of $500,000.
