Krista Jill Knackstedt, 46, passed away unexpectedly at her home on December 13, 2025, in Inman. She was born September 13, 1979, in Mangum, Oklahoma, the daughter of Loyd and Brenda (Klepper) Fletcher.
She was a graduate of Mangum High School and was a graduate of Southwest Technology Center.
Krista married Justin Knackstedt on November 10, 2007, in Iuka, Kansas. They had two children, Grant and Kendi. She was a fierce mom, who enjoyed attending and never missed the kids’ activities. She loved to cook and bake, loved watching sports on tv, especially Oklahoma State, showed livestock, and enjoyed crafting.
She is survived by her husband Justin, and her two children, Grant and Kendi, all of the home in Inman; father and mother-in-law, Dwight and Pam Knackstedt, Inman; Brother and sister-in-law, Tyler and Kaleena Knackstedt, Hutchinson; a sister-in-law and husband Jenna and Carl Crawford, Palmetto Bay, Florida; a sister-in-law, Suzi Fletcher, Frederick, Oklahoma; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins along with numerous nieces and nephews who always referred to her as Aunt KK
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Keith Fletcher.
Per her wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a celebration of her life held at 10:00 AM on Monday, December 29, 2025, at St. Peter’s United Church of Christ Fellowship Hall. The family requests that you wear comfortable clothes. The celebration will be live streamed on the Inman Funeral Home Facebook page, which you can reach from the website.
