HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The unemployment rate in Reno County held steady in March at 3.3%.
959 Reno County residents were out of work.
The jobless rate for the same period in 2022 was 2.6%.
Statewide preliminary estimates reported by the Labor Market Information Services (LMIS) division of the Kansas Department of Labor (KDOL) and the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) show a seasonally adjusted unemployment rate of 2.9% in March.
This is unchanged from 2.9% in February and an increase from 2.4% in March 2022.
