Ralph Piper, 82, passed away Wednesday October 2, 2024 surrounded by family at Wesley Medical Center. He was born on November 3, 1941 in Jefferson City, Missouri to Ralph D. "R.D." Piper and Vine Lee Basler.
Ralph married Isabel "Tina" Gonzalez on October 24, 1963 in Hutchinson. He worked at Winchesters for many years, worked in the oilfield, packaging coorperation, and was a “Jack of all Trades”. He was always willing to help a friend in need. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, dancing to a variety of music and hanging out with friends and family.
He is survived by his wife, two sons, Ralph III (Robin) of Inman, Waylon of Wichita, seven grandchildren; Ricky (LaDonna) Manwarren, Rochelle (Adan) Rivera, Tasha (Casey) Piper, Renae Manwarren, Austin Piper, Maya (Carl) Piper and Kaylynn Piper, 16 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, sister Georgia Robertson of Toledo, Ohio, eight nephews and six nieces.
Ralph is proceeded in death by his parents, one brother and three sisters.
Per his wishes Ralph has been cremated.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, Phoenix Home Care & Hospice or American Diabetes Association care of Old Mission Mortuary - Heritage.
He will be missed by his loving family and remembered for his warm smile, corny humor and made up songs and kindness.
