Clarendon Morris Standley “Junior”, age 84, retired owner of Standley Earthmoving Co., passed away on Friday, December 15, 2023. He was born to Clarendon and Josephine (Condron) Standley in Stokes Mound Township, Missouri. Later they moved to rural Tina, Missouri where he was a 1957 graduate of Tina-Avalon High School. He is a former resident of Carrollton, Missouri and member of Oakland Christian Church, Carrol County, Missouri. In 1978 he moved to Kansas.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Laurel June, daughters Lori Mason (Dave) and Kristi Tremblay (Greg), son-in-law Wren O’Neal, grandchildren Jessica Olsen, Amanda O’Neal, Jessica Stussy, Sarah Foster, Nik Mason, Ryan Tremblay and Joshua Tremblay, 9 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents, daughter Lisa O’Neal, great grandson Gage Lemons, sister and brother-in-law Joan & Bill Mattox, sister-in-law & brother-in-law Lois & John Conner.
Visitation 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, December 20, at Baker Funeral Home, Valley Center, Kansas.
Graveside Service 11 a.m., Thursday, December 21 at Hillside Cemetery, W. 125th St N and Hoover, Sedgwick, Kansas.
