SEDGWICK COUNTY—One person died in an accident just before 2p.m. Wednesday in Sedgwick County.
A Honda Accord driven by Noah Graham Boaz, 29, Wichita was westbound in the 7400 Block of 47th Street South near Rock Road, north of Derby, according to Sheriff's Department spokesman Branden Stitt. The car crossed the centerline and collided with an eastbound Ford F750 box truck driven by a 55-year-old Wichita man.
Boaz was pronounced dead at the scene. Sedgwick County EMS transported the other driver to an area hospital for treatment.
The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office Major Crash Team continues to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
