WASHINGTON (AP) — President Joe Biden has tested positive for COVID-19 for another day in what is reported to be a rare case of “rebound” following treatment with an anti-viral drug.

White House physician Dr. Kevin O’Connor says in a letter Thursday that the president “feels well but continues to cough."

Biden is working from the executive residence and hosted a roundtable with business and labor leaders to discuss how the Inflation Reduction Act will lower costs and the deficit, fight inflation, and bolster domestic manufacturing. After Biden tested positive on Saturday, he canceled plans to travel and hold in-person events.

The 79-year-old Biden first tested positive on July 21. He was treated with the anti-viral drug Paxlovid and he had originally ended his isolation on July 27.
