Delila Yoder, 77, of Hutchinson, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2022, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. She was born July 11, 1945, in Hutchinson, to Amanda M. (Yoder) and Moses C. Yoder.

Delila was a homemaker and a member of the Plainview Mennonite Church. She lived a life that was centered around her faith in God and there was nothing more important to her than the love that she had for her family. Delila was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Quality time and acts of service were her love languages. Delila enjoyed entertaining and playing games with family and friends. Her passion was baking and cooking, and she often shared that passion with others. Delila will be remembered for her strong work ethic and for being a kind, caring, and selfless woman who genuinely put the needs of others before her own. 

Delila is survived by her husband, Wilbur D. Yoder, whom she married on August 26, 1967. She is also survived by: her three sons: Keith Yoder (Brenda) of Nappanee, IN; Darrell Yoder (Angie) of Kansas City, KS; Sheldon Yoder (Tisha) of Hutchinson; a daughter: Regina Miller (Ray) of Hutchinson; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, John “Paul” Yoder and Christy “James” Yoder.

A funeral service to honor her life is set for 10 a.m. Thursday, September 22, 2022, at the Plainview Mennonite Church, 5610 W. Trail West Road, Hutchinson. Burial will follow in the Plainview cemetery. The service will be livestreamed on the church’s website.

Her family welcomes visitors from 2-4 p.m. and also from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at the church.
