HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Local small business owners can get an opportunity to talk to an expert Friday here in Hutchinson.
"Brandi Willett works with the WSU Small Business Development Center or SBDC. They're one of our statewide partners that provides some mentoring around business planning and financial, financial development with your business, financial projections," said Jackson Swearer with StartUp Hutch. "That can be really valuable for people who are just getting started out, whether they're sort of pre-launch or they've just started in their business one to three years and they need to get a handle on everything that's going on inside of their business and the finances. The WSU Small Business Development Center can be a great resource, but, you know, it's all the way over there in Wichita and they do some remote opportunities and you can certainly go over to Wichita. They serve our region, but we wanted to do something a little special and bring an opportunity here to Reno County where people can connect with that small business development center. So Brandi will be at the Hutchinson Public Library."
She's going to be in Hutchinson from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
