HAVEN, Kan.— One person was injured in a vehicle/ moped accident Friday afternoon.
According to the Reno County Sheriff’s Department 23-year –old Patrick Hartung of Haven was driving in the 10100 block of South Haven Road just before 4:30 p.m. when he hit 20-year-old Michael Tarrick of Hutchinson from behind.
Tarrick, who was not wearing a helmet, was transported by Haven EMS to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. Hartung was not injured. The accident happened about three miles north of Haven.
