NICKERSON, Kan. — The Nickerson USD 309 School District announced Tuesday that Amy Jones has been named Assistant Superintendent and Curriculum Director for the district.
Jones will take over her new role at the start of the 2022-23 school year. She brings more than a decade of administrative experience to the position and has degrees from Wichita State University, Baker University and Southwestern College. She is currently the Principal at Nickerson Elementary School.
Jones replaces Penny Stoss who is retiring. Her last day is Friday, January 28.
