HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson City Council meets Tuesday with a full agenda.
The council will seek approval for Lamp Rynerson to conduct the aquatics master plan for $43,000. The plan is part of an overall assessment of the city’s parks and recreation facilities. The Salt City Splash is one of the center pieces of that master plan. The pool is nearing its useful lifespan and the city wants a full assessment of needs and solutions.
The council will also take action on a contract with Thomas Warren for the art design for the law enforcement center. City ordinance requires one percent of the cost of all city projects go to art at the new or renovated building. The cost is $50,000. And the council will take action on a contract with Engineering Consultants for the Farmington Park project for $33,000.
Finally, the council will take time again to discuss the Atrium Hotel property and hear reports from the council and city manager.
Tuesday’s meeting begins at 9 a.m. at the Hutchinson city offices.
