Booster shot program begins Tuesday in Hutchinson

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Reno County Health Department will be offering free COVID-19 booster vaccinations starting Tuesday, Oct. 26, at the First United Methodist Church, 101 E. 1st Ave., across from the post office.

Booster doses of Pfizer, Moderna and J&J will be offered Monday through Friday by appointment. Flu vaccines, along with first or second doses of COVID vaccine for ages 12 and over, will also be administered at the clinic. The flu vaccine can be administered at the same time as the COVID vaccination. Appointments must be scheduled and can be scheduled online at https://forms.renogov.org/rchd/covid19-registration/ or by calling 620-694-2900 and selecting option 6.

Eligible individuals may choose which vaccine they receive as a booster dose. The COVID-19 vaccine is also available at Dillons, Walmart, Walgreens, The Hutchinson Clinic, and The Medicine Shoppe.
