
HAVEN, Kan. — Haven USD 312 announced Tuesday that it will implement a diversity and inclusion council at Haven High School starting next year.
This pilot program is aimed at surveying school culture surrounding diversity and inclusion.
According to a release from the district, some initial actions from the council are to produce a reporting system for students and parents, staff development opportunities, and the selection of a survey tool surrounding school diversity and inclusion.
The council is currently made of staff with intentions to include students this coming fall.
