HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Planning Commission will consider requests related to adding a drive-through to the RCB Bank location on 30th as part of its agenda on Tuesday.

The bank is requesting a zone change from C-1 Office Commercial District to C-4 Special Commercial District on a property generally located northwest of Severance Street and 30th Avenue (700 East 30th Avenue). The site is currently developed with an RCB Bank. The applicant plans to add a multiple lane drive-through window with a canopy overhang.

To allow for the canopy, the applicant proposes to vacate the north 5 feet of the platted 30-foot building setback line running parallel to 30th Avenue on property zoned C-1 Office Commercial District and located at 700 East 30th Avenue. The vacation will allow for the addition of a canopy on the front of the building that will cover a drive-through. If approved a 25-foot setback would remain in place.
The meeting is Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall at 125 East Ave. B.
