BUHLER, Kan. — The Buhler City Council will get a look at the budget for next year during an agenda session set for Tuesday evening.

City Clerk Merrill Peterson will present the numbers that will be the top of the budget the council can go. If approved by the council, the budget will go to a public hearing at a date that will be set Tuesday.

Also Tuesday, the council will go over the annexation of 18 acres of land on the city’s south side. The land is being annexed for future development, although nothing has been announced as a development on the parcel. The city has been working on the annexation for several months now and Tuesday's action will make it official.

Tuesday’s meeting of the Buhler City Council begins at 7 p.m. at the city offices at 219 N. Main.
