RENO COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 8 p.m. Monday in Reno County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Kawasaki motorcycle driven by James E. Higson, 66, Plainville, was traveling northeast on Kansas 61 just south of Burns Street in Turon.
The motorcycle left the roadway to the right and entered the ditch. The driver lost control, overturned and was ejected.
EMS transported Higson to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. He was not wearing a helmet, according to the KHP.
