HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson USD 308 Board of Education will consider an agreement to purchase Cyber Security Awareness Training through KnowBe4 at their meeting on Monday.

The State of Kansas and KSDE strongly encourage Cyber Security Awareness Training for all school employees, at hiring and annually thereafter, following Cyber attacks and Cybersecurity audits of school districts.

Cyber Security Awareness Training includes interactive training videos, quizzes, email phishing expeditions, and reports for auditing purposes.

Topics cover Social Engineering, Malware, Email and Phishing, Passwords, and other cyber security concerns.

The agreement is a three-year package for $38,918.88. This saves the district approximately $8,000 over single year options.  The USD 308 Board of Education will meet at 6:00 p.m. Monday at the USD 308 Administration Center at 1520 N. Plum.
