RENO COUNTY, Kan. — A K-96 patching project will start soon in Reno County.
The Kansas Department of Transportation project will be on K-96 from the K-14 junction east to the Sedgwick/Reno County line. The length is about 15 miles.
The work is expected to start around April 1 and be completed around mid-August or late August.
During the work, eastbound traffic will be restricted to one lane through the work zone starting on the west side. Motorists should be prepared to slow down.
Clarkson Construction Co., of Kansas City, Mo., is the primary contractor for the $1,989,823 project.
