HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Business-minded teens high school students are invited to participate in the virtual Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge on November 23. The event is hosted by StartUp Hutch.
Jackson Swearer of StartUp Hutch says the challenge is a way to raise awareness about the power and potential of entrepreneurship, and increase youth confidence.
The competition will be judged by a panel of local entrepreneurs, and prizes will be awarded.
In addition to the prize money and recognition at the Reno County competition, first-place competitors will also have the opportunity to compete in the Kansas Entrepreneurship Challenge held at Kansas State University in Manhattan. This event will include the top young entrepreneurs from schools across the state.
