HUTCHINSON, Kan. —The defending NBC World Series champion Hutchinson Monarchs (6-3) will host the Wichita Black Sox (0-2) at Hobart-Detter Field in Carey Park Monday night with the first pitch scheduled for 7 p.m.
Saturday night's game for Cancer Awareness Night was postponed due to unplayable field conditions due to Saturday's early afternoon storm and power outage at Hobart-Detter. The game will be scheduled to be played at a later date.
The Monarchs are slated for 20 home games with all 20 games set to be video streamed on hutchpost.com as well as on the monarchslive.tv channel. Glen Grunwald will have the play-by-play call with Matt Peterson providing the video stream sponsored by Mid-Way Motors.
