HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Those who want to hear from the Kansas Senate side of what happened in Topeka in the 2023 Legislative Session have an opportunity on Thursday.
"I will be giving a legislative recap tomorrow at the Reno County Republican meeting," said Sen. Mark Steffen Wednesday morning on KWBW's Phone Forum. "It's going to be at 7 p.m. at the Riverside Baptist Church."
The church is at 1100 West 21st Ave. in Hutchinson.
"We'll get into some great detail," Steffen said. "The veto override session, really, ultimately, when you have a Democrat governor and a Republican legislature, the override session really very, very clearly defines the differences in the philosophies of the two parties. They are incredibly striking."
Steffen said everybody's invited to attend.
