
HESSTON, Kan. — Advance voting continues in Hesston USD 460 where residents will consider a $33.5 million bond issue on Tuesday.
As of Wednesday, about 100 residents had voted in person with 126 mailed out ballots sent to patrons. The proposal includes adding on to the current high school and moving the middle school students to that new addition. It would also include a new auxiliary gymnasium, a new auditorium and renovation of current facilities at the high school.
The general election on the bond issue is Tuesday Aug. 30. All voting will be done at the Kingdom of Life Church located at the corner of Ridge Rd. and Hickory St. in Hesston.
