KANSAS CITY—One person died in an accident just before 1:30a.m. Thursday in Kansas City, Kansas.
First responders dispatched to the area of N. James Street and Interstate 70 discovered a single vehicle with an adult inside who was pronounced deceased at the scene, according to a media release.
A second adult occupant of the vehicle was ejected and transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
Cause of the accident remains under investigation. Police released no additional details early Thursday.
