Police capture 2nd Kan. man wanted for October killing

SHAWNEE COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities investigating a fatal October shooting have captured a suspect who had been the subject of search over the past month.

On Wednesday, police in Kansas City, Kansas located 29-year-old  Tremale M. Serrano.. On November police asked the public for help to find him for the death of 23-year-old  Jackson E. Danner of Topeka.

October 15, police responded to a report of an individual laying in the front yard of a home in the 1600 block of SW 21st Street in Topeka, according to police spokesperson Rosie Nichols.

First responders located. Danner who was pronounced deceased at the scene.

On November 14, police booked 33-year-old Aaron Serrano into the Shawnee County Department of Corrections in connection with Danner's death.
