
Emmett Everett Allen, 81, died December 19, 2020, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. He was born February 14, 1939, in Hutchinson, to Lloyd and Elva (Carpenter) Allen.
Emmett graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1957. He was a self-employed business owner and salesman. Emmett enjoyed selling any type of Western wear and collectibles, and owned Allen’s Café in South Hutchinson, along with his wife, Judy, for many years.
On April 16, 1960, he married Judy Gookins, in Hutchinson. They shared over 60 years of marriage.
Emmett is survived by his wife, Judy of Hutchinson; daughters, Amy Foster (Mike) of Sterling, Jennifer Allen of Houston, TX; grandsons, Brett Foster (Amy) of Andover, and Andrew Foster of Wichita; granddaughter, Mollie Foster of Park Ridge, IL; and great-grandsons, Paxton and Brady Foster of Andover.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Todd Allen; and sister, Sheryl Allen.
Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held.
