NICKERSON, Kan. — Those wanting to fill out a survey to express what they want in the next Superintendent for Nickerson USD 309 have until Sunday to complete that survey.
The district is seeking community input on desired characteristics of the new superintendent. The survey takes approximately five minutes to complete and can be accessed at the following link: surveymonkey.com/r/309. The Kansas Association of School Boards will make the findings of that survey known during a Board meeting March 31.
The application process is now open and according to the KASB applications will be taken until April 1. Once that’s completed the screening of applicants will start April 7. The district hopes to have a contract offered to their person of choice by the end of April.
