BUTLER COUNTY —Law enforcement have made an arrest in a hit-and-run that critically injured a juvenile.
Just after 7pm on Monday, a car struck a juvenile girl in the 1000 back of Campbell in Augusta, according to a report from Augusta Department of Public Safety.
The juvenile suffered critical injuries and was transported to a Wichita hospital. The driver of the car left the scene of the accident, however debris in the roadway suggested the suspect's vehicle was a 2005-2009 Pontiac G6, unknown color.
Police asked the public for any information to help find the hit-and-run driver. Late Monday, police reported they made an arrest. Police released no additional details including the name of the driver.
