Jeane Dyer Hilb, 101, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2022 at Longhorn Village, in Austin, TX. She was born April 8, 1921 in Hutchinson, to Howard and Clara Reiner Dyer.
Jeane graduated from Hutchinson Community College and later attended the University of Southern California where she received her undergraduate degree. She did some post- graduate work at Radcliffe. She was a professional model, television personality and charitable organizer for education and women. She was the Founding President of the College of the Desert Auxiliary Foundation, Board Member of the Palm Springs Friends of Philharmonic, Founder of the Ballet Guild of the Desert, and a world traveler. In 1979, she married Justin Hilb in California.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Justin; daughter, Jeane “Jadey” Swirles MacClyment; and brother, Richard Dyer.
Jeane is survived by her three grandchildren, Crosby B. Banks, Logan J. MacClyment and Neal H. MacClyment; and two great grandchildren, Dylan J. MacPhie and Case A. MacPhie.
Funeral Services will be held at a later date. Burial will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson, KS. Hutchinson Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
