Nathan “Nate” Schroeder, 67, died Nov. 15, 2023, at Harry Hines Hospice Memorial Hospice Center, Wichita. He was born Sept. 3, 1956, in Moundridge, the son of Herb and Linda Preib Schroeder. He received his bachelor of Ag and Business from Tabor College. He worked as a computer analyst. On May 3, 1986, he married Bonnie Janzen in Wichita. She survives.
Additional survivors include children, Natalie (Joshua) Chism, Spokane, WA, Cody (Jessica) Schroeder, Sedgwick, Emery (Jessica) Schroeder, Grandview, MO, and Valerie (Shandon) Classen, Liberal; a brother Herbert (Pauline) Schroeder, Sioux Falls, SD; sister, Miriam (Mark) Pauls, Inman; 5 grandchildren; and a brother-in-law, Richard (Lorraine) Geist, Abilene.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Lavonne Geist; and a baby brother, Waldo Schroeder.
Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, November 20, 2023, at Ridgepoint Church, 8000 West 21st St, Wichita, KS. Burial will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at Zoar Mennonite Church Cemetery, Inman. Celebration of life services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Ridgepoint Church.
