The City of Alexandria, Virginia in partnership with Representative Don Beyer, invites the community to a memorial honoring the 67 lives lost in the January 2025 Potomac River mid-air collision involving a U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopter and an American Airlines jet from Wichita.

Located along the Potomac River at Rivergate City Park, the memorial was designed with input from families and loved ones to create a space for reflection, remembrance, and community connection.

"Community members are invited to gather, honor those we lost, and support one another on Monday, June 1, at 5:30 p.m. in Rivergate City Park (2 Montgomery St.)
