
Carolyn A Lofland Dick, 85, passed away June 2, 2025. She was born May 8, 1940, in Stafford, KS, to Fred Henry and Anna Augustine Byer Lofland. Carolyn graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1958. She married Floyd G Dick August 2, 1958. Floyd passed away December 18, 1999.
Carolyn worked as the teller supervisor at Commerce Bank retiring in 2004. She later worked at People's Bank & Trust before retiring one last time in 2005. Carolyn was an avid reader, enjoyed sewing, and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were the joys of her life. She was a member of Crosspoint Church.
Carolyn is survived by: son, Dennis Dick (Janet); daughters, Susan Evans (Don Durbin) and Bobbie Cooprider; seven grandsons, Nicholas Evans (Anna), Benjamin Evans, Lance Dick (Megan), Brett Dick (Sarah), Drake Dick, Lawson Roberts (Jenny), and Michael Cooprider-Phelps (Erin); three great-grandsons, Christopher, Bentley, and Boston Evans; four great-granddaughters, Willow Johnson, Berklee Evans, Josie Dick, and Adelynn Roberts; and a lifelong friend, Mary Ellen Schrock.
She was proceeded in death by: her parents; her brothers, Charles and Richard Lofland; and son-in-law, Christopher Evans.
Memorials are suggested to The American Cancer Society Hope Lodge of Kansas City in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main St., Hutchinson, KS 67501. At Carolyn’s request, there will be no services. She will be inurned at Memorial Park Cemetery.
