Shirley Anne Eickstadt, 95, of McPherson, KS, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2024, at The Cedars in McPherson.
Shirley was born on March 18, 1928, in Dexter, MN, the daughter of Dietrich and Esther (Scwartz) Spreckels.
On June 26, 1954, Shirley was united in marriage to Royal George Eickstadt in Minneapolis, MN. This union was blessed with three children, Steven, Daniel, and Susan. Royal preceded Shirley in death on March 6, 2018.
Shirley was a registered nurse, working in neonatal units.
Survivors include three children, Steven Eickstadt (Eloise) of McPherson, KS, Daniel Eickstadt of McPherson, KS, and Susan Nabors of Minneapolis, MN; grandchildren, Raymond Eickstadt, Lorissa Gilmore (Steffen), Kristina Eickstadt (Chris Culver), and RaeAlane Sargent; seven great-grandchildren; and many extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings, Bob Spreckels, Dick Spreckels, and Carol Hultstrand.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, January 15, 2024, at Stockham Family Funeral Home. Private inurnment will be in the mausoleum at McPherson Cemetery following the service.
