Sabrina May Ice, 47, died January 6, 2024, at her home. She was born May 8, 1976, to Marlin and Beverly (Armatrout) Goodpaster in Norfolk, Nebraska.
Sabrina graduated from Norfolk High School in 1994. She earned her CNA certification from Hutchinson Community College. She was a CNA at Pleasant View Home in Inman. Sabrina also worked as a corrections officer at Hutchinson Correctional Facility. She was an avid reader and enjoyed crocheting. She also loved watching her sons play sports and swore she was their biggest fan. She was a Denver Broncos fan and watched them every chance she got. She was a hard worker who didn’t know the word quit.
On June 17th, 2004, Sabrina married Paul Diaz.
Sabrina is survived by: her husband; sons: Jacob (Makayla) Ice of Buhler, Zachary Ice of Hutchinson, and Lucas Diaz of Hutchinson; mother: Beverly (David) Larson of Hutchinson; sisters: Chris Goodpasture of Great Bend and Katy Goodpasture of Hutchinson; and brother, Bucky Goodpasture of Utah. She was preceded in death by; her father; and sisters: Jennifer Duran and Juanita Goodpasture.
Cremation has taken place.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday January 11, 2024, at Elliott Chapel with Pastor Wayne DeWindt officiating. The family will greet friends from 1-2 p.m. Inurnment will be at a later date.
Friends may sign her memorial book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday and 9 a.m. to service time Thursday at Elliott Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sabrina Ice Memorial Fund in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
