Judy Janell Hayes, 73, passed away on July 5th, 2023 at Ellinwood District Hospital. Born in Larned, KS on August 12, 1949 she was the daughter of Howard & Leona Keeler. Judy was a lifetime Ellinwood resident where she worked as a caregiver and owned Raymond Farm Supply. She was active in the community donating her time to Meals on Wheels and the Heritage Club and was a member of the Garden Club in Ellinwood.
Survivors include sons, John Henry (Jacalyn) Hayes, and Jimmy Joe (Genia) Hayes; grandchildren, Zaid (Stepheni) Hayes, Ethan (Kennedy Harrington) Hayes, Jacob Hayes, Adam Hayes, Garrett (Cori) Hayes, Sophia (Patrick) Ringering, Madelyn (Kaleb) Schartz, Nicole (Adam) McKie, and Audrey (Austin Benavides) Likes; and 8 beloved great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Ned Keeler.
Graveside service will take place 10:30 AM, Mon., July 17th at Lakin-Comanche Cemetery in Ellinwood, KS with Pastor Tom Reazin officiating. Memorials are suggested to Heritage Club or Ellinwood Hospital Foundation in care of Minnis Chapel, PO Box 246, Ellinwood, KS 67526.
