Janet Elaine Hobbick, 71, died October 20, 2024, at Crown Care Rehab and Health Care Center, Harrisonville, MO. She was born November 4, 1952, in Hutchinson, to Keith Fredrick and Barbara Lou (Skellenger) Hobbick.
Janet graduated from the Kansas School for the Deaf, in 1972. She enjoyed working on crafts.
Janet is survived by: sisters, Sandy Wedman (Dean), Lynn Montgomery (Chuck), and Kim Trent (Marc), all of Hutchinson; close friends, Donna Lambeth and Sue Houchin, both of Drexel, MO; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; maternal grandparents; George and May Skellenger; paternal grandparents, Hilda and Robert Hobbick; brothers, Doug Hobbick and Mike Hobbick; sister, Ginger Werth and husband Fred; and two nephews.
Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 25, 2024, at Fairlawn Burial Park, 2401 Carey Blvd., Hutchinson. Friends may sign her book Wednesday and Thursday at Elliott Mortuary. The casket will remain closed.
