Loren LeRoy Johnson, 88, passed away March 16, 2026, at Hospice House in Hutchinson, KS. He was born on November 14, 1937, in Macksville, KS, and was the son of Cleo and Gladys (Stambaugh) Johnson.
Loren graduated from Macksville High School. He worked for Frito Lay in sales for over 33 years. On June 1, 1980, Loren married Mary Ann Simmons in Hutchinson, KS. Loren was a plain and simple man. Loren enjoyed woodworking and mowing his lawn. He was a die-hard NASCAR fan and liked watching the Chiefs and Bears play football and he thought the world of his grandkids.
He is proceeded in death by his parents; son, Rick Johnson and a brother, Lynn Johnson.
Loren is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ann Johnson; children, Dana (Ted) Ramsey, Lee (Gayle) Johnson, Keith (Jodee) Johnson; brother, Dave Johnson; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
