David Craig Massey, 71, passed peacefully on May 14, 2024, at Hutchinson Health and Rehab, Hutchinson, Kansas.
He was born January 4, 1953, in Pratt, KS, the son of David D. and Barbara Green Massey. He attended schools in Barber County, KS. A long time resident of Hutchinson, he retired from Rose Motor as an automotive machinist.
Survivors include his father, two sons, Stephen and wife Melanie of Olathe, KS and John and wife Mindy of Overland Park, two sisters, Kay of Hutchinson and Jodean Gogan of Buffalo, OK, five grandchildren, Aidan, Parker, Miles, Madeline and Alana, two nieces and two nephews, and many cousins.
Craig was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Green Massey, and a nephew, Ronnie Lee Gogan II.
A memorial service will be on May 24, 2024 at 11:00am, Old Mission Heritage Funeral Home, 528 N Main in Hutchinson, KS, 67501, with Rev Larry Wedel officiating. There will be no visitation, cremation has taken place. Burial will be at Sunnyside Cemetery in Sun City, Kansas at a later date. Any memorial donations can be made out to Cornerstone Baptist Church-Missions Fund, in care of Old Mission Heritage Funeral Home.
