MCPHERSON COUNTY, Kan. — The McPherson County Sheriff's Office said one person was injured in an accident Friday morning between Galva and Canton.
On Friday, Dec. 15 at approximately 7:40 a.m., deputies were dispatched to an accident at Highway 56 & 24th Avenue.
Deputies found that a Nissan SUV, Jeep Cherokee SUV, and a GMC SUV had been involved in a collision. The driver of the GMC SUV received lifesaving aid from Canton EMS and Fire. The 30-year-old female was transported to McPherson Hospital and then later transported to Wichita.
Preliminary investigation and witness statements indicate that the driver of the Nissan SUV crossed over the center line of Highway 56 just before the collision.
The investigation continues.
