HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Members of the Reno County Commission, local school districts, and the health department presented the Medicine Shoppe a Certificate of Appreciation at a vaccination clinic this past Sunday, March 21.
Reno County Commission Chair Ron Hirst thanked Rick Stone and The Medicine Shoppe for their efforts in vaccinating Reno County school teachers and staff.
This was the second dose clinic for education staff, which included K-12 and community college employees. The first clinic was held Feb. 28 after The Medicine Shoppe received 1,000 doses of the Pfizer vaccine. The Medicine Shoppe collaborated with the health department and local school districts to create a distribution plan that utilized school nurses and volunteers.
