Kansas Main Street event July 25-26 in Downtown Newton

NEWTON, Kan. — Kansas Main Street will host Tools for Economic Vitality: Asset Strategies for Thriving Downtowns on Tuesday, July 25, and Wednesday, July 26, at the Prairy Mezzanine Event Space at 104 W. Sixth St. in Newton.

Training will consist of leaders across the state working in the minority space lending their expertise with an equity focus through entrepreneurship, social, cultural, and financial progression and healthy partnerships to activate ecosystems through inclusivity.

Sessions are set for 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on July 25 and 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on July 26. Attendees will have meals on their own, but there will be a social hour with light snacks and refreshments at 5:15 p.m. on July 25 at Carriage Factory Art Gallery.
