Born on June 27, 1931, in the small town of Hemingford, Nebraska. She had 5 sisters who are all deceased except Linda. Iris lived a life filled with love, laughter, and an unwavering dedication to her family and friends.
Iris was married to Bob Driver in 1952, and together they built a life centered on mutual respect, warmth, and shared adventures before his passing.
Iris was the epitome of kindness and care, always ready with a comforting word or a helping hand. Her loving nature was not just a part of her personality; it was the very essence of who she was. She had an uncanny ability to make everyone feel special, like they were the most important person in the room. She always had a comforting hug and a listening ear
Iris's greatest joy was being a mother to her children, Brent Alan Driver and Kerry Sue Manning, who both carry forward her spirit and values. Iris's family was her pride and joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them, creating memories that will be treasured forever.
She had 3 grandchildren, Andrew, Kyle, and Sierra and 2 great grandchildren whom she loved very much.
To honor Iris's life, a memorial service will be held at the outside pavillion of Eastwood Christian Church at 24th and Plum Street on June 7, 2025, at 3:00 pm. It will be a gathering of those who loved her, sharing stories and remembering the joy she brought into their lives.
