HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Reno County commissioners did not take any action appointing a new County Counselor or new County Appraiser during Tuesday's agenda session.
None of the three executive sessions centered around filling the two vacancies. County Administrator Randy Partington could not say what the executive sessions were about, but did say they did not provide an avenue to make any appointments for either spot.
Partington says they hope to be able to make both of those appointments during the next commission meeting, which is set for Jan. 11.
No action came from any of the executive sessions held during Tuesday’s meeting.
