Larry D. Petzoldt, 82, passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at Prairie Sunset Home, Pretty Prairie, KS. He was born April 14, 1941 in Frohna, MO to Hugo E. and Anita (Boehme) Petzoldt.
Larry worked as a carpenter for many years. He was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Hutchinson, KS. On June 23, 1963, he married Dorothy Mattingly in Brewer, MO. She survives of the home.
In addition to his wife, Dorothy, he is also survived by his two daughters, Kimberly King and Janean Barlow; his son, Devin Petzoldt; and three grandchildren, Jordan, Parker, and Hunter Barlow.
Larry is preceded by his parents, Hugo and Anita Petzoldt; and one son, Rodney Petzoldt.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 407 E 12th Ave, Hutchinson, at 10:00 A.M. with Pastor Quentin Nuttmann officiating. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation, and sent in care of Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E 30th Ave, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
