PRETTY PRAIRIE, Kan. — Teachers in Pretty Prairie USD 311 have a new contract for next year.
In a special meeting held Monday morning, the USD 311 School Board approved a new contract with teachers. The union has already approved the contract. Most of the major items in the new contract deal with movement on the wage scale for teachers and cleaning up some language.
The contract does hold base pay at this year's level at $40,800.
Also Monday morning, the board accepted the resignation of elementary school principal Tambra Stucky effective at the end of the month. Action came following an executive session by the board.
