KINGMAN COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 10:30 p.m. Sunday in Kingman County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2012 Ford Edge driven by Melody M. Brawner, 48, Newton, was traveling southwest on Kansas 2 at Southeast 140 Avenue.
The SUV crossed the center line, traveled off the roadway to the left, continued in the ditch, struck the embankment at SE 140th Avenue, rolled and came to rest on the driver side facing west.
EMS transported Brawner to St. Francis in Wichita. She was properly restrained, according to the KHP.
