Diane Kay (Myers) Williams, 77, of Hutchinson, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at The Arbors in Hutchinson. She was born April 14, 1947, in McPherson, to John K. Myers and Ann J. (Carpenter) Rawson. Diane spent her childhood on the family farm in Windom.

A 1965 graduate of Windom High School, Diane married her high school sweetheart, Dale B. Williams, on April 29, 1966. Together, they shared 50 blessed years of marriage until Dale’s passing in 2016.

Diane’s remarkable work ethic and diverse talents led her to various roles over the years. She began at a young age working for Gary Holler at the Windom grain elevator, then spent nearly three decades alongside her brother Denny at Reffner’s Sporting Goods. Later, Diane worked at Business Computer Center for several years, then back to work with brother and sister-in-law at Classic Embroidery by Jan, until retiring in 2012.

She was a devoted wife, mother, and farm girl at heart. Diane loved her family and lived for her grandchildren. She was a member of Eastwood Church of Christ for almost 54 years.

Diane is survived by: her son, Kyle Williams and wife Angie of Hutchinson; daughter, Dana Williams Sneed and husband PJ of Nickerson; grandchildren, Haley Sneed and partner Niall Sheerins, Tanner Sneed, Jarret Williams and wife Alyssa, Elise Williams; brothers, Dennis Reffner (Jan), Johnny Myers (Sandra), Jimmy Myers (Jana); stepsister, Jan Rawson Michaels (Ron); stepbrothers, Kent Rawson (Nancy), Jim Rawson; sisters-in-law, Nita Grandestaff (John), Patti Johnson (George); and brother-in-law, Doug Pierson.

Preceding her in death were: her husband, Dale Williams; parents, John Myers and Ann (Carpenter) Rawson; stepfather, Orville Rawson; father and mother-in-law, George and Deloris Williams; and sister-in-law, Cynthia Pierson.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at Eastwood Church of Christ, 2500 N. Plum, Hutchinson, with Wayne DeWindt officiating. Burial will follow in Windom Cemetery.

Friends may call from 1-8 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. - 8 p.m., with family present to receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Elliott Mortuary.
