Stanley Lee Voth, 78, of Hesston, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at Schowalter Villa. He was born on June 13, 1945 near Moundridge, Kansas, to John and Linda (Graber) Voth.
He was baptized at the First Mennonite Church of Christian in Moundridge at the age of 16. Stan was a current member of the Littleton Methodist Church in Littleton, CO.
He graduated from Moundridge High School with the class of 1963. He later received a B.S. from Bethel College to become a teacher. During his time in education, he acquired his Master’s of Science in Curriculum and Supervision in 1981 from the University of Northern Colorado.
Stan went on to work for CapMark Securities, formerly known as GMAC Commercial Mortgage, as an comptroller. He worked in the industry for 25 years.
He became acquainted with Habitat for Humanity and volunteered with a local affiliate for several years.
Stan was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Evelyn Penner, Alta Johnson, and Ruth Kiser; brothers, Wilbur Voth, Jim Voth and Glenn Voth; brothers-in-law, Walter Penner and Mel Johnson; and sister-in-law, Sandra (Miller) Voth.
He is survived by his step-daughter, Ashley Watson of Denver, CO; grandchildren, Aiden, Addison and Avery; son, Dylan Voth of Pacifica, CA; sisters-in-law, Hazel Voth of Moundridge, KS, and Barbara Voth of Telford, PA; brother-in-law, Merle “Pete” Kiser of Rockingham, VA; brothers, Curt (Sandra) Voth of Charleston, WV, Karl (Luanna) Voth of Hesston, KS, Harry (Catherine) Voth of Loveland, CO, Myron Voth of Hesston, KS, Larry (Terry) Voth of Boyertown, PA; sisters, Waneta (Eugene) Goering of Moundridge, KS, Lois (Lee) Hunsicker of Telford, PA; and brother, Verne (Janet) Voth of Hesston, KS.
